The New Zealand Educational Leadership and Administration Society (NZEALS) is at the forefront of educational leadership across all sector.
It is a leading source of information, support and networking in educational administration and leadership.
We develop your leadership ability by
- identifying, creating, critiquing, disseminating and applying knowledge related to educational administration and leadership
- providing opportunities for cross-sector networking, discussion and debate
- identifying and acknowledging high quality, innovative educational leadership practice
- encouraging and supporting the creation of new knowledge
- encouraging critical comment on educational leadership policy and practice

Journal of the New Zealand Educational Administration and Leadership Society
The New Zealand Journal of Educational Leadership is a refereed, international journal, which aims to highlight new knowledge and important ideas in leadership from New Zealand - an education laboratory for leadership development and innovation - and from elsewhere in the world. This journal welcomes studies that further the international debate in the field of educational leadership. The New Zealand Journal of Educational Leadership is published by the New Zealand Educational Administration and Leadership Society, and through the publication of research findings, commentaries and reflective articles, leadership stories and book reviews, this journal aims to reflect the diversity of those in leadership at all levels, and in all educational institutions and organisations. This journal was previously called the New Zealand Journal of Educational Administration.
