How the Internet is changing peer review

Patricia Cohan provides a fascinating write-up on how the Internet impacts scholarly publishing and communitcation, and the roll-on effect this has on traditional reviewing processes.

Some believe that expert reviews combined with well funneled crowd sourced opinion can improve the transparency, accountability and efficiency of reviews.
