General information:
NZ On Air provides funding to television producers and networks to produce television programmes for broadcast on national free-to-air television channels. We fund a wide range of television programmes including: * documentaries * drama * comedy * special interest programmes - such as a series for people with disabilities, the Teletext subtitling service, and programmes for children, young people and ethnic minorities. You must have a commitment from a major free-to-air broadcaster before NZ On Air will consider your programme for funding.
Application dates:
Meetings are held every two months. Applicants are contacted by fax within three days following the meeting with details of the decision.February 2004 Funding Round: Application Deadline - Friday 23 January (Meeting Dates - 25 & 26 February).
April 2004 Funding Round: Application Deadline - Friday 19 March (Meeting Dates - 21 & 22 April)
June 2004 Funding Round: Application Deadline - Friday 14 May (Meeting Dates - 16 & 17 June)
August 2004 Funding Round: Application Deadline - Friday 16 July (Meeting Dates - 18 & 19 August)
October 2004 Funding round: Application Deadline - Friday 10 September (Meeting Dates - 13 & 14 October)
December 2004 Funding Round: Application Deadline - Friday 05 November (Meeting Dates - 8 & 9 December)
