General information:
The purpose of the Fund is to provide grants to emerging or experienced moving-image makers for innovative moving-image productions. The Fund will give priority to innovative art projects and production proposals in the following categories:* projects by emerging video and filmmakers of promise that emphasise innovation within or between moving-image genres * projects by experimental or fine art film and video-makers * projects exploring digital technologies which give priority to the moving image * exceptional, innovative, non-commercial projects by established film and video makers. Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:* potential to support the emergence of new creative talent in the moving-image arts in New Zealand * potential to develop the moving-image arts by supporting artform and media innovation * artistic merit of the applicant's project and work to date * viability in terms of evidence of effective budgeting, planning and resourcing of the project.
