General information:

Creative New Zealand is calling for applications from established New Zealand choreographers. The Fellowship was offered for the first time in 2004 and is now offered biennially. Previous recipients of this Fellowship are: Shona McCullagh (2004), Douglas Wright (2005), Michael Parmenter (2006) and Lemi Ponifasio (2008). The Fellowship will be awarded for a project and/or programme of activity that will take one year to complete and is open to established choreographers who have already produced a significant body of work. Valued at $65,000, the fellowship will be paid out in two instalments. This first payment will be made at the start of the fellowship and the next instalment paid upon receipt of a six month progress report.
