Call For Entries to Homegrown at the New Zealand International Film Festival 2010

MIC Toi Rerehiko has been curating the Homegrown programmes of short films and videos by New Zealanders for the New Zealand International Film Festivals since 1997.

Fourteen years on, Homegrown is an established and always dynamic platform for bringing the innovative work of the independent film and digital media community to a diverse national and international audience.

Homegrown consistently attracts the most cutting-edge and innovative works from both established and up-and-coming Kiwi filmmakers. From the poignant to the skillfully irreverent, the Homegrown programmes present a uniquely contemporary New Zealand cinematic vision.

We are interested in receiving submissions from filmmakers who would like the opportunity to have their works screened to a diverse and discerning Film Festival audience.

Please download the Homegrown entry form here: http://www.mic.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/nzentry2010-1.pdf

The form includes all entry details and technical requirements.

To be eligible for Homegrown selection the filmmaker has to be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or studying at an NZQA authorised institution.
