Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Art Educators Conference 2009
Calls for papers
The Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Art Educators (ANZAAE) Conference (20-24 April, 2009, Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin) will include national and international keynote speakers from a variety of art education backgrounds.
The conference will benefit art educators from pre-primary, primary, intermediate, secondary and tertiary educators, plus participants from the museum and public gallery sectors.
The key conference themes will be:
-- Questioning visual arts education: histories and futures
-- Enhancing synergies across creative disciplines: links and diversity
-- Travelling between arts education sectors: share and support
-- Affecting the world through the visual arts: society and politics
ANZAAE 2009 invites submissions for papers, and studio sessions for next years 2009 Aoteroa New Zealand Art Association of Educators Conference. Submissions should align with one or more of the themes identified for the conference.
Presenters can submit a title, abstract, and details for one or more of the following presentations:
- Delivered paper
- Studio Workshop session (30,60,90,120 or 180 minutes)
- Exhibition
- Exhibition Floor talk
The call for papers and studio sessions is open now, entries will be considered until end February 2009 if there are places left in the program. To be considered for presenting a paper or a studio workshop, please complete the submission form and return it before October 31st 2008. Each submission needs to be on separate submission form (e.g if submitting a paper and a workshop - you need to send a completed submission form for each).
